NICL AO Final Results 2017 Out

NICL had declared vacancies for 205 Administrative Officers. The NICL AO Exam took place to fill 205 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer (Generalists) Scale I. NICL has released a list of finally selected candidates who will be selected subject to medical test. Candidates who clear the medical test will be selected.

The NICL AO consists of 3 phases of exam:

• Phase I: Preliminary examination
• Phase 2: Mains examination
• Phase 3: Interview

NICL AO Mains Online Examination(02^nd July) 2017 is over now. There are total 205 vacancies are there for the post of AO(Administrative Officers). As we see, low seats are there show obviously cutoff may go little high. NICL AO Mains  Online Examination 2017  Pattern:

As per the recent examination which had been conducted  viz. SBI PO, NIACL AO etc. difficulty level of this examination was slightly easy.

NICL AO Mains GK Analysis:

This section contains 40 questions comprising 40 marks. As we know its insurance exam, so insurance awareness questions had priority and most of the questions appeared from insurance awareness. Few questions occurred from Current Affairs. Overall difficulty level was easy to moderate. Some questions of Static GK also appeared. Banking and Insurance questions were appeared mostly.

NICL AO Mains Computer Analysis:

This section also contains 40 questions. Overall Computer Aptitude/Awareness paper was easy. Question appeared from the section viz. Basics of Hardware and Software, DBMS, Operating System , Computer Security.

NICL AO Mains Exam Analysis 2017(Descriptive Part):

Total three questions were asked in descriptive test in time duration 30 minutes. One essay had to be choose from the given three essay to answer. Essay words maximum length was 200. One essay was: Home and Property Insurance. Comprehension words maximum length was 150, Corporation related Comprehension asked. Precise writing words maximum length was 150. Insurance related Precise writing asked.

NICL AO Mains Exam 2017(Expected Cutoff):

We are expecting the below cutoff of NICL AO Mains 2017 on the basis of Number of Vacancies, difficulty level of the question paper and number of students appeared for this exam.

Sectional Cutoff of NICL AO Mains 2017:

GK – 10 to 14

English- 8.5 to 11

Quant- 11 to 15

Reasoning – 12 to 16.7

Computer – 13 to 15

Overall cutoff we expect: 124 to 135

NICL AO 2017 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

NICL AO 2017  Exam Pattern

The exams are conducted online and there are two phases of written test.
 

Selection process:

• Phase 1 Exam – NICL AO Preliminary exam
• Phase 2 Exam – NICL AO Mains exam
• Phase 3 - Interview

NICL AO Prelims 2017 Exam Pattern:

The prelims exam will be of 1 hour duration and there will be following sections:

Paper type : Objective Paper(online)

Negative Marks : 0.25 for each wrong attempt

NICL AO Mains 2017 Exam Pattern:

The Mains exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration divited into two parts:

Part 1:

Paper type : Objective Paper(online)

Negative Marks : 0.25 for each wrong attempt

Part 2:

Paper type : Descriptive Test (online)

The Descriptive Test of 30 Minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Essay, Precis and Comprehension). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on line mode.

Note:

All the tests of Prelims and Mains exam, except for English Language Test will be available in Hindi as well as English

NICL AO Phase – III: Interview

Candidates who have been shortlisted based on online Phase – II (mains examination) will be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at selected centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

NICL AO – Final Selection:

The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the online main examination(Objective and Descriptive Section) and interview. The weightage (ratio) of online Main Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively.

NICL AO 2017 Syllabus

The topics from which questions will be asked in each section is given below:

1. Reasoning: Analogies, Inequalities, problem solving analysis, Puzzle, Odd Man out, Syllogism, Statement and conclusions, Statement and assumptions, Statement and arguments, Blood relations, Alphabet test, Series test, Sequences, Directions, Sitting arrangement, Decision making, Input output, Assertion and reasoning etc., syllogistic reasoning, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, Symbol series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion.

2. Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Average, Numbers, Percentages, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Time & distance, Investment, LCM / HCF, Age, DI including Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart having percentage calculations.

3. English language: Verb, preposition, adverb, Error Correction/ recognition, tenses, sentences rearrangement. This section have long paragraphs / passages for fill in the blanks, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, one word substitution etc..

4. General Awareness: Banking and Insurance, Current Affairs, Culture, Indian Economy, Finance, Economic News, Heads of Organizations, Budget & Plans, Books and Authors, Awards and Honors, Sports, Science Inventions and Discoveries, Slogan, Ministers & Constituencies, Full Forms, Important Days of the year etc. topics.

5. Computer Knowledge:
Computer fundamentals, Computer History and Future, Abbreviation, Microsoft-office, Basics of Internet use, Email, Shortcut keys, Basic Software & Hardware and their functionalities, Networking, etc.

NICL AO Recruitment 2017 – Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on three phases : Preliminary exam, Mains exam and Interview.

(A) Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections as follows :

(B)Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 Marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.

1. Objective Test : The Objective Test of 2 hours duration consists of 5 sections for total 200 Marks.

(C) Interview Candidates who have been shortlisted based on online Phase – II (mains examination) will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

NICL AO Recruitment 2017 – Eligibility Criteria

1. Age: Minimum age of the Candidate should be 21 years and Maximum age is 30 years as on 1^st

2. Education: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination (at least 55% for SC/ST) candidates.
