Airtel to buy Telenor India
In what will lead to yet another multinational exit in the telecom space, Bharti Airtel on Thursday announced acquisition of Telenor India.
● It’s a no-cash deal that will see Norway’s telco packing up and leaving the country as business had become unsustainable.
● This money will primarily go towards payment of spectrum that Telenor has acquired, it is learnt.
● Bharti claimed the acquisition will bolster its footprint with the additional spectrum band, besides eliminating smaller and fringe players.
● The acquired company’s debt of about Rs 1,500 crore will be serviced by Telenor itself.
● While Bharti would gain around 44 million new subscribers, adding to its current base of 269 million, once the deal fructifies by end of the year, Telenor would get to exit without paying any severance charges for its infrastructure contracts and tower lease deals.

Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo - the New Somalia President
A former prime minister who holds dual Somali-US citizenship has been declared Somalia's new president.
● Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo was named the new leader after two rounds of voting on Wednesday and quickly took the oath of office.
● Incumbent President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud conceded defeat.
● The protracted vote began on Wednesday after 14,000 elders and prominent regional figures chose 275 members of parliament and 54 senators, who in turn chose whether to back Mohamud for a second term or one of 21 rivals.
● Fears of attacks by al-Shabab, an armed group, limited the election to the country's legislators, who voted at a heavily guarded former air force base in the capital, Mogadishu.
● The airport, where the vote was taking place, was guarded by the African Union peacekeeping force AMISOM and is surrounded by high concrete barriers to protect it from attack.

Nadella Lays Out Plan to Democratise Tech in India
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on Wednesday laid out a vision of democratising access to advanced technology and said the emerging digital technologies had the power to significantly empower ordinary Indians, and small and medium businesses in the country.
● Nadella also announced several new solutions designed by Microsoft with this purpose.
● Among Microsoft's new offerings are a lighter version of its Skype video and voice calling app to cater to the mass of Indians who own mid-range and low-end smartphones, and a skilling-cum-job search/hiring platform for low-skilled people.
● The new Skype, called Skype Lite and built with the help of Microsoft's development centre in Hyderabad, occupies just over a third of the storage space of the original Skype, consumes far less data and has features that are not available yet on the original version — it integrates, for instance, your Skype calls, messages and contacts with your mobile calls, SMSs and contacts, so you can do everything from the one app.

Gramin Khel Mahotsav held
The Delhi Gramin Khel Mahotsav 2017 is being organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports in association with Delhi Government from 25th to 31st March 2017, to invite the talent from rural areas of NCT of Delhi to come and participate in a multi-sport championship to promote the culture of sport in Delhi.
● Announcing this today Minister of State (I/C) for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Vijay Goel said, a need has been felt to deepen the sports culture among the rural youth.
● The festival will help involve rural youth in large number to participate in popular sports and will encourage them to achieve excellence and adopt healthy lifestyle.
● The qualifying matches will be organized in the respective blocks.
● The Inter-block competitions will be held in Bawana and Finals will be conducted in Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.
● Before start of semi-finals and finals, an opening ceremony will be held on 28th March, 2017 and the conclusion of the game will be followed by a closing ceremony on 31st March, 2017 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi.

7 Earth Size Planets Found Orbiting Star - May Hold Life
For the first time, astronomers have discovered seven Earth-size planets orbiting a single nearby star — and these new worlds could hold life.
● This cluster of planets is less than 40 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius, according to NASA and the Belgian-led research team who announced the discovery.
● The planets circle tightly around a dim dwarf star called Trappist-1, barely the size of Jupiter.
● Three are in the so-called habitable zone, the area around a star where water and, possibly life, might exist.
● The potential for more Earth-size planets in our Milky Way galaxy is mind-boggling.
● The history of planet-searching shows "when there's one, there's more," said Massachusetts Institute of Technology astrophysicist Sara Seager.
● Last spring, the University of Liege's Michael Gillon and his team reported finding three planets around Trappist-1.
● Now the count is up to seven, and Gillon said there could be more. Their latest findings appear in the journal Nature.

Prakash Javadekar lays foundation stone of New Building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Shahdara Delhi
The Government is working actively on providing quality education to students, as it believes that only a proper and quality education has the potential of developing a good citizen with strong character.
● Stating this at the foundation laying ceremony of new building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Shahdara here today, Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar emphasised the need for improving and providing quality education to students across the country on a priority basis.
● He said Kendriya Vidyalayas are a synonym of quality education, as parents have a long cherished dream of their wards getting good education.
● He said in addition to education sports activities are also an import aspect of education as the student learns and gains a feeling of collectiveness through sports after sweating and toiling hard. He said that it is sweating on the ground that makes a better student.
● The Minister said keeping in view the shortage of land in Metro cities and other places the Government has decided to relax the land requirement norms to build new Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country.
● The Minister said the land requirement in 06 Metro cities will now be 2.5 Acre instead of present 4 Acre and 5 Acre instead of 8 Acre in other places across the country.

Sikkim becomes 22nd State to join UDAY
The Government of India and the State of Sikkim signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the Scheme Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY) today, for operational improvement of the State’s Power Distribution Department.
● With the signing of MoU, the total number of States covered under UDAY has reached twenty-two.
● Sikkim would derive an Overall Net Benefit of approximately Rs. 207 crores through UDAY by way of cheaper funds, reduction in AT&C and transmission losses, interventions in energy efficiency, etc. during the period of turnaround.
● The MoU paves way for improving operational efficiency of the Power Distribution department of the State.
● AT&C losses and transmission losses would be brought down through compulsory distribution transformer metering, consumer indexing & GIS mapping of losses, upgrade/change transformers, meters etc., smart metering of high-end consumers, feeder audit etc., besides eliminating the gap between cost of supply of power and realisation.
● The reduction in AT&C losses and transmission losses to 15% and 3.50% respectively is likely to bring additional revenue of around Rs. 179 crores.

Health Ministry undertakes largest ever drug survey in the world for determining the quality of drugs
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India had entrusted the work relating to carrying out a Survey of the extent of Problems of ‘Spurious and Not of Standard Quality Drugs’ to the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Noida. The NIB has since submitted the report to the Government.
● The statistical design of the Drug Survey included as many as 224 Drug molecules belonging to 15 different therapeutic categories of the National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) 2011. As part of this survey, 47,954 drug samples relating to 23 dosage forms were drawn from 654 districts of 36 States and Union Territories from the supply chains including retail outlets, Government sources and from eight airports and sea ports.
● A nationwide training in drugs survey methodology was imparted at 28 centres across the country to over 1800 Sample Drawing Officers (SDOs) and representatives of the Civil Society / Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
● The role of the Civil Society / Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) representatives was to observe that the drugs samples are drawn in accordance with the sampling methodology and the highest degree of transparency and objectivity is maintained in the process to eliminate any bias.
● All the samples were subjected to test / analysis as per pharmacopoeial requirements in the Central and State Drug Testing Laboratories that have been accredited by NABL. Overall, out of the 47,012 samples tested, 13 samples were found to be Spurious and 1,850 samples were found to be ‘Not of Standard Quality’ (NSQ). As such, the percentage of NSQ Drugs in India has been found to be 3.16% and that of Spurious drugs 0.0245%.
टेलीनॉर को खरीदने की तैयारी में भारती एयरटेल
टेलिकॉम बाजार में मुफ्त वॉयस और डेटा सर्विस के साथ रिलायंस जियो की एंट्री होने के बाद से इंडस्ट्री में चल रही उठा-पटक के बीच भारत की सबसे बड़ी टेलिकॉम कंपनी भारती एयरटेल नॉर्वे की टेलिकॉम ऑपरेटर टेलिनॉर इंडिया को खरीदने जा रही है।
● भारती एयरटेल ने गुरुवार को अपने कस्टमर बेस और नेटवर्क में इजाफा करने के लिए टेलिनॉर इंडिया के अधिग्रहण की घोषणा की। टेलिनॉर देश के सात राज्यों- आंध्र प्रदेश, बिहार, महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, यूपी (ईस्ट), यूपी (वेस्ट), और असम में अपनी सुविधाएं देती है।
● एयरटेल देश में निजी क्षेत्र की सबसे बड़ी दूरसंचार कंपनी है। इसके करीब 29 करोड़ ग्राहक हैं और दूरसंचार क्षेत्र के 33% बाजार पर एयरटेल का कब्जा है।
● अधिग्रहण के बाद वह टेलीनोर इंडिया के स्पेक्ट्रम, लाइसेंस, संचालन और कर्मचारियों के साथ ही 4 करोड़ 40 लाख ग्राहक भी एयरटेल के साथ जुड़ जायेंगे।
● वहीं इस डील की फाइनेंशियल डीटेल फिलहाल जारी नहीं की गई है। लेकिन कहा जा रहा है कि यह अधिग्रहण 12 महीने में पूरा होगा। भारती एयरटेल ने कहा कि इस अधिग्रहण से कंपनी के स्पेक्ट्रम में इजाफा होगा।
● वहीं रिलायंस जियो जिस तेजी से पांव पसार रहा है उसे देखते हुए न सिर्फ एयरटेल बल्कि वोडाफोन और आइडिया भी मर्ज होने की राह पर हैं।
मोहम्मद अब्दुल्ला फर्माजो सोमालिया के राष्ट्रपति चयनित
सोमालिया की पार्लियामेंट ने 8 फरवरी 2017 को प्रधानमंत्री मोहम्मद अब्दुल्ला फर्माजो को देश का राष्ट्रपति चयनित किया.
● उनका चयन दो चरणों की वोटिंग के पश्चात् किया गया. जीत घोषित होने के तुरंत बाद उन्होंने पद की शपथ भी ग्रहण की. निवर्तमान राष्ट्रपति हसन शेख महमूद को इस चुनाव में हार का सामना करना पड़ा.
● इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथी समूहों द्वारा दी गयी धमकियों के कारण कड़े सुरक्षा बंदोबस्त के बीच एयरपोर्ट कॉम्प्लेक्स में चुनाव प्रक्रिया संपन्न की गयी.
● सुरक्षा के मद्देनजर इस क्षेत्र को नो-फ्लाई-ज़ोन घोषित किया गया तथा सभी प्रकार की ट्रेफिक पर भी प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया गया था.
● कुल 328 मतों में से 184 फर्माजो के पक्ष में तथा 97 महमूद के पक्ष में पड़े.
● मोहम्मद का चुनाव लोकतंत्र के पुनर्निर्माण और स्थिरता प्राप्त करने की एक लंबी प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा है.
● फर्माजो की जीत का देश के विभिन्न मंत्रियों ने स्वागत किया जिसमें विदेश मंत्री अब्दुस्लाम एच ओमर भी शामिल हैं. देश के कई सरकारी नियंत्रण वाले क्षेत्रों में उनकी जीत की ख़ुशी में गोलियां चलाकर जश्न मनाया गया.
● सोमालिया उन सात देशों की सूची में शामिल है जिसे अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प द्वारा प्रतिबंधित आव्रजन श्रेणी में रखा गया है.
माइक्रोसॉफ्ट प्रमुख नडेला ने की भारत में उद्यमिता ऊर्जा की सराहना
माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के सीईओ सत्य नडेला भारत दौरे पर हैं। सत्य नडेला ने भारत के शीर्ष उद्यमियों और सॉफ्टवेयर विकासकर्ताओं से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान सत्य नडेला ने डिजिटल इंडिया और स्टार्टअप इंडिया का समर्थन भी किया।
● सत्य नडेला ने उद्यमियों और सॉफ्टवेयर विकासकर्ताओं से इस बात पर विचार विमर्श किया कि माइक्रोसॉफ्ट किस तरह से डिजिटल इंडिया में योगदान दे सकता है।
● इस बातचीत के दौरान वित्त राज्य मंत्री जयंत सिन्हा भी उनके साथ मौजूद रहे। इसके साथ ही सत्य नडेला ने ये भी कहा कि सरकार देश के हर नागरिक और संगठन को मजबूत कर रही है जिससे वो अपनी क्षमता से ज्यादा अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर पाएं और देश का नाम रोशन कर पाएं।
● इससे पहले सत्य नडेला ने आईटी क्षेत्र और डिजिटल इंडिया की भागीदारी को लेकर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से बात की।
● प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने ट्वीट कर इस बात की जानकारी दी कि नडेला के साथ आईटी क्षेत्र से संबंधित कई मामलों पर बात हुई। हालांकि, बात क्या हुई इस बारे में पीएम मोदी ने कोई खुलासा नहीं किया है।
● इससे पहले एपल के सीईओ टिम कुक भी चार दिन की यात्रा पर भारत आए थे और उन्होंने डिजिटल इंडिया का समर्थन किया था। इससे ये जाहिर होता है कि भारत टेक्नोलॉजी के क्षेत्र में आने वाले दिनों में कई स्तर आगे बढ़ सकता है।
ग्रामीण खेल महोत्सव 2017
युवा मामले एवं खेल मंत्रालय द्वारा दिल्ली सरकार के सहयोग से 25 मार्च से लेकर 31 मार्च, 2017 तक दिल्ली ग्रामीण खेल महोत्सव 2017 आयोजित किया जाएगा।
● इसमें दिल्ली के राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाडि़यों को आमंत्रित करके विभिन्न तरह के खेलों वाली इस चैम्पियनशिप में भाग लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा।
● इसका उद्देश्य दिल्ली में खेल संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देना है। आज यहां इस आशय की घोषणा करते हुए युवा मामले एवं खेल राज्य मंत्री (स्वंतत्र प्रभार) श्री विजय गोयल ने कहा कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले युवाओं के बीच खेल संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने की जरूरत महसूस की जा रही है।
● इस महोत्सव से बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण युवाओं को लोकप्रिय खेलों में शिरकत करने का मौका मिलेगा और इसके साथ ही यह महोत्सव ग्रामीण युवाओं को उत्कृष्टता हासिल करने और स्वस्थ जीवन शैली को अपनाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करेगा।
● उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि यह महोत्सव पूरे देश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में खेलों को बढ़ावा देने में एक उत्प्रेरक की भूमिका निभाएगा, जिससे अन्य राज्यों और केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों में भी इस तरह के महोत्सव आयोजित किये जाने की संभावना है।
● गोयल ने कहा कि पांच ब्लॉक अलीपुर, नांगलोई, नजफगढ़, महरौली और शाहदरा इन खेलों में भाग लेंगे।
● अन्तर-प्रखंड स्पर्धाएं बवाना में आयोजित की जाएंगी और फाइनल का आयोजन नई दिल्ली स्थित इंदिरा गांधी स्टेडियम में होगा।
नासा ने खोजे पृथ्वी के आकर के 7 नए ग्रह
अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा ने घोषणा करते हुए कहा है कि गहरे खोज में खोज करने वाले वैज्ञानिकों को एक नए सौरमंडल के अस्तित्वं का पता चला है।
● वैज्ञानिकों ने पृथ्वी के आकार जैसे सात नए ग्रहों को खोजा है जिनमें से तीन पर तो धरती की तरह जीवन की संभावना भी जताई है।
● नासा ने ट्वीट करते हुए ख की यह सभी ग्रह एक ही तारे की परिक्रमा करते हैं। नासा के मुताबिक ये तीन ग्रह रहने लायक हो सकते हैं।
● जिस तारे के इर्द-गिर्द ये हैं, उस स्टार का नाम ट्रैपिस्ट है। यह स्टारर पृथ्वी से 40 प्रकाश वर्ष दूर है। दशकों से अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिकों के लिए अंतरिक्ष में जीवन की उत्पनत्ति सबसे बड़ा सवाल रहा है।
● कैंब्रिज यूनिवर्सिटी के अंतरिक्ष वैज्ञानिक एमुरी ट्रायड ने पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए कहा अभी तक सौरमंडल के बाहर 3,500 ग्रहों की खोज हुई है।
● ये नए खोजे गए ग्रह भी उन्हीं में से एक हैं और यह उन सातों ग्रह पर जीवन कि संभावनाओं का पता लगाने की दिशा में यह हमारा एक निर्णायक कदम हो सकता है।
● नासा ने अपनी प्रेस रिलीज के दौरान कहा कि स्पिट्जर स्पेीस टेलीस्कोकप ने पाया कि आकार में यह ग्रेह प्रथ्वी जितने बड़े है और हमारे वैज्ञानिको ने बतौया है की ये ग्रेह रहने लायक हो सकते है और 'आवासीय जोन' के दायरे में आते हैं।नासा ने यह भी कहा कि हमारे लिए यह एक बहुत बड़ी उपलब्धि है और हम इस उपलब्धि से बेहद खुश है।
प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने दिल्ली के शाहदरा स्थित केन्द्रीय विद्यालय के नये भवन की आधारशिला रखी
सरकार विद्यार्थियों को उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली शिक्षा मुहैया कराने की दिशा में काफी सक्रियता के साथ काम कर रही है, क्योंकि उसका स्पष्ट मानना है कि केवल उचित एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा में ही सुदृढ़ चरित्र वाले अच्छे नागरिकों के विकास की क्षमता होती है।
● आज यहां शाहदरा में केन्द्रीय विद्यालय के नये भवन के शिलान्यास समारोह में इस बात का उल्लेख करते हुए केन्द्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री श्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने प्राथमिकता के आधार पर देशभर में विद्यार्थियों को दी जाने वाली शिक्षा को बेहतर करने के साथ-साथ गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा मुहैया कराने की जरूरत पर विशेष बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि केन्द्रीय विद्यालय उच्च गुणवत्ता वाली शिक्षा के पर्याय माने जाते हैं, क्योंकि अभिभावकों का यही सपना होता है कि उनके बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा मिले।
● उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा के अलावा खेलकूद से जुड़ी गतिविधियां भी शिक्षा का एक महत्वपूर्ण पहलू है, क्योंकि खेलकूद के दौरान कड़ी मेहनत करने और पसीना बहाने के बाद विद्यार्थियों में खेलों के जरिये सामूहिक भावना पनपती है। श्री जावड़ेकर ने कहा कि मैदान पर पसीना बहाने से ही बेहतर विद्यार्थी उभर कर सामने आते हैं। मंत्री महादेय ने कहा कि महानगरों के साथ-साथ अन्य जगहों पर भी जमीन की भारी कमी को देखते हुए सरकार ने देश में नये केन्द्रीय विद्यालयों के निर्माण के लिए भूमि की आवश्यकता संबंधी मानकों में ढील देने का निर्णय लिया है।
● मंत्री महोदय ने कहा कि 6 महानगरों में इसके लिए भूमि संबंधी आवश्यकता को मौजूदा 4 एकड़ से घटाकर अब 2.5 एकड़ और देशभर में अन्य स्थानों पर इसके लिए भूमि की आवश्यकता को मौजूदा 8 एकड़ से घटाकर 5 एकड़ कर दिया गया है।
सिक्किम ‘उदय’ योजना में शामिल होने वाला 22वां राज्य
भारत सरकार और सिक्किम ने आज उज्जवल डिस्कॉम एश्योरेंस योजना (उदय) के तहत राज्य के बिजली वितरण विभाग के परिचालन में सुधार के लिए समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।
● एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर करने के साथ ही उदय के अंतर्गत आने वाले राज्यों की संख्या 22 हो गयी है। सिक्किम किफायती कोषों, एटी एंड सी में कमी और ट्रांसमिशन की खामी, ऊर्जा दक्षता बढ़ाने जैसे तरीकों से ‘उदय’ के माध्यम से 481 करोड़ रूपए का कुल लाभ अर्जित करेगा।
● एमओयू से राज्य के बिजली वितरण विभाग की परिचालन क्षमता में सुधार का मार्ग प्रशस्त होगा। बदलाव की प्रक्रिया के दौरान उत्तर प्रदेश और डिस्कॉम्स अनिवार्य फीडर और ट्रांसफामर्स मीटरों का वितरण, उपभोक्ता इंडेक्स एवं नुकसान की जीआईएस मैपिंग, ट्रांसफार्मरों को अपग्रेड/बदलना, मीटर इत्यादि, बड़े ग्राहकों के लिए समार्ट मीटरिंग जैसे कदमों के जरिए परिचालन दक्षता लाने का प्रयास करेंगे।
● इससे पारेषण (ट्रांसमिशन) और एटीएंडसी के नुकसान को कम किया जा सकेगा। इसके अलावा बिजली की आपूर्ति और वसूली के बीच के अंतर को समाप्त किया जा सकेगा।
● इस दौरान एटीएंडसी और ट्रांसमिशन नुकसान में क्रमश: 15 प्रतिशत और 3.50 प्रतिशत की कमी लाकर 453 करोड़ रूपए का अतिरिक्त राजस्व जुटाया जा सकेगा।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने दवाइयों की गुणवत्ता निर्धारित करने के लिए विश्व में अभी तक का सबसे बड़ा दवाई सर्वेक्षण कराया
स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार ने नकली और बिना मानक गुणवत्ता वाली दवाइयों की समस्याओं के लिए एक सर्वेक्षण करने से संबंधित कार्य राष्ट्रीय बायोलॉजिकल्स संस्थान (एनआईबी), नोएडा को सौंपा था। एनआईबी ने अपनी रिपोर्ट सरकार को सौंप दी है।
● आवश्यक दवाइयों की राष्ट्रीय सूची (एनएलईएम) 2011 के 15 विभिन्न चिकित्सीय श्रेणियों से संबंधित 224 दवाई मोलेक्यूल्स को दवाई सर्वेक्षण के सांख्यिकीय डिजाइन में शामिल किया गया है। इस सर्वेक्षण के एक हिस्से के रूप में 23 खुराक फॉर्म्स नमूनों से संबंधित 47,954 दवा नमूनों को खुदरा ब्रिकी केंद्रों, सरकारी सूत्रों और आठ हवाई अड्डों और समुद्री बंदरगाहों सहित 36 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के 654 जिलों की आपूर्ति श्रृंखला से लिया गया है।
● 1800 से अधिक नमूना लेने वाले अधिकारियों (एसडीओ) और सिविल सोसायटी / भारतीय फार्मेसी परिषद (पीसीआई) के प्रतिनिधियों को दवाई सर्वेक्षण पद्धति का राष्ट्रव्यापी प्रशिक्षण देश भर में 28 केंद्रों पर दिया गया। सिविल सोसायटी / भारतीय फार्मेसी परिषद (पीसीआई) के प्रतिनिधियों की भूमिका यह देखने की थी कि दवाओं के नमूने दवाई पद्धति के अनुसार लिए गए हैं और किसी पूर्वाग्रह को दूर करने के लिए अत्यधिक पारदर्शिता और निष्पक्षता बरती गई है।
● सभी नमूनों की परीक्षण / विश्लेषण भेषज आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार एनएबीएल से मान्यता प्राप्त केन्द्र और राज्य औषधि परीक्षण प्रयोगशालाओं में की जाए। कुल मिलाकर 47,012 नमूनों में से 13 नमूने नकली पाए गए तथा 1,850 नमूने (एनएसक्यू) मानक गुणवत्ता के नहीं पाए गए। इस प्रकार भारत में बिना मानक क्वालिटी की दवाइयां 3.16 प्रतिशत और नकली दवाइयां 0.0245 प्रतिशत पाई गई।
