New Delhi Ranked Among World’s Top 30 ‘Super Cities'
Two Indian cities – Delhi and Mumbai – have made it to a top 30 list of the world’s most powerful, productive and connected cities.
● According to the study conducted by international real estate consultancy JLL, India’s financial capital Mumbai has been ranked 22nd while the national capital Delhi is placed at the 24th spot.
● The list is topped by Tokyo, which along with New York, London and Paris make the top four ‘super cities’.
● These four were the destinations of over 50 per cent of all foreign capital invested in the “Global Top 30″ cities.
● Mumbai is also on the top-10 “improvers” list.
● Top-10 improvers are cities whose scores in the index of “commercial attraction” have improved the most over the past year.
टेक्नोलॉजी के स्तर पर हो रहे बदलाव को अपनाने, आबादी में तेजी से हो रही बढ़ोतरी को समाहित करने और ग्लोबल कनेक्टिविटी को मजबूत करने वाले शहरों पर किए गए सर्वे में दिल्ली को भी स्थान दिया गया है. इन शहरों की ग्लोबल लिस्ट में सर्वोच्च स्थान बेंगलुरु को प्राप्त हुआ है.
● जेएलएल इंडेक्स के सर्वोच्च 10 शहरों में बेंगलुरु, हो ची मिन्ह सिटी, सिलिकॉन वैली, शांघाई, हैदराबाद, लंदन, ऑस्टिन, हनोई, बोस्टन और नैरोबी सम्मिलित हैं.
● विश्व के 30 सबसे डायनेमिक शहरों की लिस्ट में देश की राजधानी दिल्ली के अलावा छह अन्य भारतीय शहरों ने भी स्थान प्राप्त किया है.
● जेएलएल के चौथे सालाना सिटी मोमेंटम इंडेक्स में दुनिया के तेजी से बदलते शहरों को रखा गया है.
● मोमेंटम इंडेक्स में भारत, चीन, वियतनाम और अमेरिका के शहरों का बोलबाला रहा.
● 30 शहरों की इस सूची में कुल के आधे शहर एशिया-पैसिफिक रीजन के हैं.
● सीएमआई ग्लोबल सर्वोच्च 30 में भारत के छह शहर हैं.
● इनमें भारत का टेक्नोलॉजी हब बेंगलुरु पहली बार सर्वोच्च स्थान पर पहुंच गया है.
