Road Ministry to launch 2 new apps for road safety

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is planning to soon launch two mobile apps — m-Parivahan and e-challan — which would not only give a push to road safety but also facilitate citizen interactions.
●   m-Parivahan is a citizen-centric app which would offer the facility of searching and establishing the genuineness of a vehicle and driver.
●   e-challan is an enforcement app which will be utilised by traffic police as well as transport authorities.
●   It would facilitate Good Samaritans in terms of reporting accidents or traffic violations.
●   Both the apps are expected to be launched during the Road Safety Week which begins on 9th January.
●   Under Motor Vehicles Act, the police as well as the transport authorities can take action against the traffic violators.

सड़क मंत्रालय सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए 2 नए एप्लिकेशन लॉन्च किया

सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्रालय सड़क सुरक्षा तथा नागरिक सेवाओं के लिए जल्द 2 मोबाइल एप 'एम परिवहन' तथा 'ई-चालान' पेश करने की तैयारी कर रहा है।
●   एम-परिवहन नागरिक केंद्रित एप होगा, जो वाहन तथा ड्राइवर की खोज तथा उनकी वास्तविकता को स्थापित करेगा।
●   ई-चालान एक प्रवर्तन एप होगा जिसका इस्तेमाल यातायात पुलिस के अलावा परिवहन विभाग भी कर सकेगा।
●   इससे सड़क दुर्घटना और यातायात नियमों के उल्लंघन की भी रिपोर्टिंग हो सकेगी।
●   दोनों एप सोमवार से शुरू होने वाले सड़क सुरक्षा सप्ताह के दौरान जारी किए जाने की उम्मीद है।
●   एम-परिवहन एप किसी चालक की सेवाएं लेते हुए यात्रियों की सुरक्षा करेगा।
●   यह ट्रांसपोर्टर्स की भी मदद करेगा। दूसरे यह पुरानी कार लेने वाले लोगों की भी मदद करेगा।
●   ई-चालान एप भुगतान और नकदी रहित मॉडल को बढ़ावा देगा।
