UP Government, Netherlands ink MoU for setting up skill development Center for farmers
The Netherlands and Uttar Pradesh on 14 July 2016 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up a skill development centre to help farmers.
• The MoU would ensure that farmers get information on food processing as well as along with use of modern techniques to boost production of sugarcane, potato, dairy development and flowers.
• Besides, the Dutch government would also help in cleaning the Yamuna in Agra and in sewage treatment.
• Under this agreement, it would assist the state in solid waste management, urban development and infrastructure.
• It will also assist the state in water management, water supply, and cleanliness of water resources, sewage treatment, transport management and revival of water bodies.
• Other than this, the Netherlands would also help in land reclamation of 1500 acres in the Ganga basin in Kanpur and development of cultural heritage.
• As per official release, the MoU will remain operational for the next three years.
नीदरलैंड और उत्तर प्रदेश ने 14 जुलाई 2016 को किसानों की मदद के लिए, एक कौशल विकास केंद्र की स्थापना के लिए एक सहमति पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
• समझौता ज्ञापन के अनुसार यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि किसानों को गन्ना, आलू, डेयरी विकास और फूलों के उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए आधुनिक तकनीक के उपयोग के साथ खाद्य प्रसंस्करण पर जानकारी मिलती रहे।
• इसके अलावा, डच सरकार भी आगरा में यमुना की सफाई में और सीवेज उपचार में मदद करेगी।
• इस समझौते के तहत, नीदरलैंड ठोस कचरा प्रबंधन, शहरी विकास और बुनियादी ढांचे में राज्य की सहायता करेगा ।
• यह जल प्रबंधन , जल आपूर्ति, और जल संसाधनों की साफ-सफाई , सीवेज उपचार , परिवहन प्रबंधन और जल निकायों के पुनरुद्धार में भी राज्य की सहायता करेगा।
• इस के अलावा, नीदरलैंड कानपुर में गंगा बेसिन और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के विकास में 1500 एकड़ जमीन के भूमि सुधार में मदद करेगा ।
• आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार, इस समझौता ज्ञापन पर अगले तीन वर्षों के लिए परिचालन रहेगा।
