Life at National Law University | Journey vs. Reality 

Life at NLUs is discovering yourself and having to be extremely independent. Most of the students would have stayed with their parents during their school and college days. 

Wherein you receive help from your parents, guidance, and support daily. 

But when you start your journey at NLUs, you are on your own. It's an opportunity to discover your strengths and weakness and work with your strengths to survive at the college. 

You will have to figure out everything quickly as the time is ticking. You cannot wait until everybody around you has adapted to their surroundings to settle down. 

You must adapt to the place, food, others around you, the schedule, and so much more. 

It can be overwhelming; remember the diamond made under pressure. 

There are several committees like journals, literature, etc., and activities around these committees happen often. 

You have to adapt to the college's fast-paced life and be smart to pick a senior as your mentor. 

The faster you do this, the more you get ahead of the others in the competition. Take advantage of the free resources at the college. Mingle and learn from people. 

Keep an open mind motivated, and continue with your hard work. You will need to get used to the fixed schedule of 9 - 4 and plan your day accordingly. 

Classes are usually based on the interactive model teachers engage with the students. Presentations and participation are highly encouraged. 

 The university has a fully residential campus, and hostels are well maintained by residents, the chief warden, assistant wardens, and wardens.

These days the campus is Wi-Fi enabled to promote E-Learning, making the best use of it. 

Lectures, seminars, and tutorials are offered to help you develop research, analysis, and writing skills.

You will also have internship opportunities with judges, law firms, PSUs, senior advocates, etc.

You have to find libraries with e-books and other study materials along with mentors. Extracurricular activities are also often conducted for all candidates at the college.
