Discrepancy (Question: 185905.0 )

Hi,
By putting any of the option(especially A), pattern doesn't seem correct.
In the beginning only, occurrence of 'a' is twice, where as in rest of the string, it's thrice.
Can you please check it.

Below is the pattern after putting in the options:
aabaaabaaabaaaba

Question:
Which one set of letters when sequentially placed at the gaps in the given letter series shall complete it ?

_ a _ aaaba _ _ ba _ ab _

Options:
A) abaaaa
B) abaaba
C) aababa
D) ababaa
Solution:
Ans: (a) a a b a/aaba/a a ba/a ab a
