Question:

A and B started a business by investing Rs.10,000 and  Rs.15,000. After 6 months, C joined by investing  Rs.20,000  while B withdraws his Rs.10,000. At the end of the year, the profit was Rs.15,000, then what is the share of each?

Options:
A) Rs.5000
B) Rs.8000
C) Rs.6000
D) Rs.4000
Solution:
Ans: (a) Ratio of shares  = 10,000 × 12 : 15,000 × 6 + 5000 × 6

: 20,000 × 6 = 1 : 1 : 1

Share of each = \(\cfrac{1}{3}\times 15,000=\unicode{x20B9} 5,000 \)
