Seriously need to see this explanation, when we talk about quorum(required minimum number of members) it means any house of of the parliament can initiate the process for the constitutional amendment.

Question:
The majority of the provisions of the Indian Constitution can be amended?
Options:
A) By the State Legislatures acting together
B) By the Parliament alone
C) Only on ratification by half of the States
D) More than half of the members of each house
Solution:

Most of the constitution can be amended after a quorum of more than half of the members of each house in Parliament.
