HJS Exam Prelims Exam Analysis 2022

The Haryana Public Service Commission successfully concluded the Haryana Civil Judge Prelims Exam on 13 November 2022.

As per the paper analysis, the overall difficulty level of the exam was easy-moderate compared to the last year.

The following were some of the key highlights of the Haryana Judiciary Exam Analysis for the preliminary exam:

  • Most of the questions were based on major laws such as the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) and Civil Procedure Code (CPC), and they are section centric.
  • Questions asked about general knowledge and current affairs were fairly easy.
  • Most of the CrPC questions were easier side compared to the CPC questions.
  • Also, there were direct questions on Section 82 and section 463 of the Indian Penal Code in the exam.
  • Questions from other minor Acts such as Specific Relief, Sale and Goods Act, Registration, Limitation, and Partnership were less in number.

As said above, current affairs questions were considered fairly easy than law subject-based questions. The questions related to family law were based on Punishment for irrevocable divorce, the Iddat period, etc.

As per the student's review, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult.

  • The question paper had a total of 125 questions.
  • Four marks were awarded for each correct answer.
  • There were questions based on both bare acts and application-based based questions.
  • Most of the questions were repeated from the previous year's papers.
