Haryana Judiciary Exam Pattern 2022

The Haryana PCS J Exam selection process includes three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Viva-voce. All three phases are qualifying in nature.

The prelims exam will have only one paper, and the mains exam consists of 5 papers. As per the official notification, you need to score a minimum of 150 marks in the prelims exam to qualify for the next exam stage, i.e., the mains exam.

Haryana Judiciary Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

The prelims exam holds a weightage of 500 marks. According to the Haryana Judiciary paper pattern, the preliminary examination shall be of objective type with multiple-choice questions.

The question paper includes five sections: English, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, Aptitude, and General Knowledge, including Current Events.

• The prelims question paper consists of 125 questions, and each question carries four marks.
• The standard of the question papers shall be of Law graduate level.
• The time duration of the exam is 2 hours.
• You must secure a minimum of 150 marks in the prelims exam to get selected for the Mains exam.

As per the Haryana Judiciary prelims pattern, the commission will not consider the marks obtained in the prelims exam for preparing the final merit list.

Haryana Judiciary Mains Exam Pattern 2022

There are five papers in the Mains exam: Civil Law 1, Civil Law 2, Criminal Law, English, and language. As per the Haryana Judiciary Exam Pattern, the mains exam holds a weightage of 900 marks.

Haryana Judiciary Exam Pattern for Viva-Voce 2022

Those who qualify in both Prelims and Mains exams will be called for the final round of examination, i.e., Personal Interview round/Viva-voce.

• If you belong to the general category, you need to score at least 50% marks in aggregate of prelims and Mains to get selected for viva-voce.
• You have to score a minimum of 45% in the written exam if you belong to the SC/ST/PwD/Backward Class/Ex-servicemen category.
• Note that you are called for the interview in order of the marks scored in the written exam shall not exceed the number of vacancies thrice.
• You will get selected as a civil judge only if you score more than 50% (for the general category) and 45% (for SC/ST/PH/ESM) in aggregate of the marks obtained in the mains written exam and the viva-voce.
