How To Prepare For AILET PG 2023

Changes were made in the AILET PG exam pattern, which might also be followed in the coming year. 

Based on the previous year's AILET exam, analysis of the type of questions going to appear in the exam can be determined. Since AILET is a highly competitive examination, you must be well prepared with all the important concepts that can be asked.

Know the AILET PG Exam Pattern 2023

AILET PG comprises two sections. Section A and Section B.

Section A is again divided into two parts: 

• Part 1: English language
• Part 2: Legal reasoning

In section A, there will be 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. Also, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question in section A.

Section B will have eight to ten descriptive questions from different branches of law. However, you will have to answer only two descriptive questions.

• Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence are other subjects in AILET PG that hold good weightage. Be thorough with all its concepts, as there will be analytical questions in the LLM exam.
• Recent case laws are also among the favorites of NLU Delhi. Learn and revise all the current case laws thoroughly. 
• Work on your foundation. That is Polity. Many of you must be wondering how it is relevant to the PG entrance exam? 

Here is the reason: You will get questions through passages where the direct or indirect question could be asked regarding any law or amendment or the president's powers!

Preparation Tips for AILET PG 2023

• Time management is essential in the AILET exam; therefore, practicing as many mocks papers is very important. 
• Practice a new set of mock series or papers; check the link below. 

• Use the correct preparations books to understand the concepts in depth. 
• Solve many MCQ-type questions so you have more time for section B.
• Practice reading through passages thoroughly so you do not waste time in the descriptive section.
