A does \(\cfrac{7}{10}\) part of work in 14 days. After that he completed the remaining work in 9 days with the help of B. In how many days will A and B together do the same work?
Options:
A) 20 days
B) 30 days
C) 10 days
D) 15 days
Solution:
Ans: (b) Let total work be x units

A and B complete x - \(\cfrac{7}{10}\) x = \(\cfrac{3x}{10}\) of work in 9 days

\(\therefore\) Time taken by both to complete the whole work

= \(\cfrac{9 × 10 × x}{3 × x}\)   = 30 days
