solution

Question:
If 11 - 2 $ 10 = 70 and 1 - 6 $ 4 = 16, then in the expression 17 - A $ 6 = 69, what is the value of 'A'?
Options:
A) 7
B) 8
C) 6
D) 5
Solution:

The logic followed here is,

For 17 - A $ 6 = 69

'-' = '+' , '$' = 'x' and (after $ Symbol number brack equal part)

Following mathematical operation is done:

Step I: (17+A) x 3+3 = 69

Step II: (17 + A) x  3 = 69 - 3

Step III: 17 + A = 66/3

Hence, A = 22-17 = 5
