Let's look at Prelims Exam first
Bank Prelims Exams Pattern:
1. English - 30 Qs
2. Reasoning - 35 Qs
3. Quant - 35 Qs
Total 100 Questions, 100 marks - Total time 1 hour.
Note - Every candidate has to clear individual sectional and overall cutoff of the exam.
SSC CGL Prelims Pattern :
1. Reasoning - 25 qs - 50 marks
2. English - 25 Qs - 50 marks
3. Arithmetic - 25 Q - 50 marks
4. GK - 25 Qs - 50 marks
Total 100 Qs, Total marks - 200 and Total time 60 minutes.
Note - No individual sectional cutoff, only you have to clear overall cutoff of the exam.
There is a lot of difference in SSC & Bank Exams..
In Bank Exams - you have to clear all the sectional cut off and overall cutoff of the exam.
In Bank Exams, the level of English & Reasoning section is High as compare to the SSC Exam of English & Reasoning section. So, you need to be very good in both subjects.
Now a days, the level of questions in Quant sections increases and if you compare to SSC Exams - Arithmetic chapter the only difference is that in Banking exams maximum questions asked from Data Interpretation topics.
GK & Computer is easy sections in Bank exams and you can easily clear the sectional cutoff of both sections..
Whether in SSC - GK is tough if we compare with Bank exams.
Now let's look at Mains Exam Pattern
Bank Mains Exams Pattern
1. English - 40 Qs (Moderate to tough)
2. Reasoning - 50 Qs (Tough)
3. Quant - 50 Qs (Tough)
4. Gk - 40 Qs (Moderate)
5. Computer - 20 Qs (Moderate)
Total 200 Questions, 200 marks - Total time 2 hour.
Note - Every candidate has to clear individual sectional and overall cutoff of the exam.
SSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern
1. Arithmetic - 100 Qs (Time 2 hours) Marks 200
2. English - 200 Qs (Time 2 hours) Marks 200
Note - No individual sectional cutoff, only you have to clear overall cutoff of the exam.
