Question:

The ratio of volumes of two sphere is 343 : 64 and sum of there radii is 22 cm then find the difference of there surface area. 

Options:
A)

    328\(\pi\) cm

B)

     576\(\pi\) cm2  

C)

     528\(\pi\) cm2  

D)

     529\(\pi\) cm2    

Solution:

Ans:(c)

According to question –

Volumeofsphere1Volumeofsphere2=3436443πr1343πr23=34364   

r1r2=74   

r1 = 7k

r2 = 4k

Now,

r1 r2 =22 

7k + 4k=22

k = 2

Radius of two spheres are 14 and 8

Difference between their surface area =  4πr12-4πr22   = 4π(14)2-4π(8)2    = 528\(\pi\) cm2
