dual answer (Question:94643.0)

in this question there's another logic like (5+2) = 7 , (6+4) = 10 , (8+7)=15, so it is clear that gap increases with 3,5,7 in this way so next sum would be 15+7 =22
so next num is 22 -8 = 14 . Now 14 is also in the option and it is logical to take numbers together placed as one unit . so why not 14?

Ans: (c) There are two alternate series.

1st series: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, ... and so on.

2nd series: 2 (×2) , 4 (×2), 8 (×2) ... and so on.
