Suppose it takes you 2 hours of travel time to go and return from your office.
WORK- 8 hours
TRAVELLING- 2 Hours
SLEEP - 8 Hours ( 8 Hours of sleep is considered the best to keep your productivity at the highest level)
You still have 6 hours left in the day out of which suppose you spend 3 hours eating and doing what you love.
Now you have only 3 hours left and that is more than enough.
The Bank/SSC exams comprise of the following subjects:
Quantitative aptitude ( R.S. Aggarwal)
Reasoning ( B.S.Sijwali)
English ( Neetu Singh)
Computer ( I need not say more about this you are an IT guy. However if you want to read computer of this level then you may refer Lucent's basic computer book or download pdf from GOOGLE)
General awareness and Banking ( Monthly current affairs published by Toprankers: https://www.toprankers.com/general-knowledge/current-affairs#English)
Now you need to study only 3 sections in these 3 hours out of which general awareness and Banking depend upon your how you are in learning things and remembering them.)
On sundays you can practice more of reasoning and quantitative aptitude and give mock tests once you think that you are abreast with all the sections and ready to go. You can anytime purchase mock tests from various online sites but I would suggest https://www.toprankers.com/
Apart from this you need to kep the following in mind
No social life or social media. You can do it a bit but dont ever over do it.
Keep a very discplined routine
Hard work and study. Give everything,it may first sound boring but you will enjoy the rewards after some time !
