In India Cars are 1 and accidents are 5 per 1000. How is it possible

Question:
DIRECTIONS: Study the following graph carefully to answer the question given below?



If the population of Indonesia is 40 crore, than total number of cars is what times of total number of motor vehicle accidents?

Options:
A) 10
B) 100
C) 12
D) Data inadequate
Solution:
Ans: (c) Total number of cars in Indonesia = (40,0000000)/1000 \(\times\) 12

= 400,000 \(\times\) 12

= 48 Lakh 

Total accident by motor vehicle in Indonesia = (40,0000000)/1000

= 4,00,000

= 4 Lakh

\(\therefore\) Required Answer = 48/4 = 12
