If the numerator of fraction is increased by 200% and the denominator of the fraction in increased by 150% the resultant fraction is \(\cfrac{9}{10}\). What is the original fraction?
Options:
A) \(\cfrac{5}{12}\)
B) \(\cfrac{4}{7}\)
C) \(\cfrac{3}{4}\)
D) \(\cfrac{7}{11}\)
Solution:

Suppose original fraction x/y

Then, \(\cfrac{3x}{2.5y}=\cfrac{9}{10}\) 

\(\therefore \cfrac{x}{y}=\cfrac{3}{4}\)
