The length of a rectangular field is twice its width. If the length of a diagonal is 905 meters, the perimeter of the rectangle is:

Options:

1. 27 meters

2. 54 meters

3. 81 meters

4. None of these

@heena

If width is x, length = 2x and diagonal^2 = x^2 + (2x)^2 = (9√5)^2. Hence 5x^2 = 81×5 or x = 9. Perimeter = 6x = 6×9 = 54 m.
