interest ko equal karna chahiye tha

Question:
Divide a sum of \(\unicode{x20B9} \)2,500 in two parts so that at the rate of 5% interest both yield equal amount after 6 years and 4 years respectively.
Options:
A) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1200, \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1300.
B) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1100, \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1400
C) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1000, \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1500
D) \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1600, \(\unicode{x20B9} \)900
Solution:
Let the first part be x, then the second part is 2500-x

Simple interest on first part for 6 years at the rate 5%

 \(= {x *6*5 \over 100}\)

\(= {3 \over 10}x\)

therefore,   Amount = Principle+Interest

                             = \(x+ {3 \over 10}x\)

\(= {13 \over 10}x\)

Simple interest on second part for 4 years at the rate 5%

\(= {(2500-x)*4*5 \over 100}\)

\(={2500-x \over 5}\)

therefore,  \(Amount =2500-x+ {2500-x \over 5}\)

\(= {15000-6x\over 5}\)

Given amounts are equal

\({13x \over 10} = {15000-6x \over 5}\)

13x = 30000-12x

25x = 30000

x = 1200

therefore,  1st part = 1200

2nd part = 2500-1200

= \(\unicode{x20B9} \)1300
