vedio solution

Question:

AB is a chord of a circle. Another chord of the circle cuts AB at O in such a way that AO = 6 cm and OB = 4 cm, then find the maximum possible integer length of the second chord

Options:
A)

25cm

B)

30cm

C)

14cm

D)

10cm

Solution:

OA×OB=OC×OD

6×4=OC×OD

OC×OD=24

We want  OC+OD   max

so  OC×OD=24×1

so maximum length of chord = 25cm
