confusion!! (Question: 90774.0 )

We are asked for the day of the week which comes 3 days before yesterday. As Yesterday is a Sunday and 3rd day is "Thursday"hence day before 3rd day is "Wednesday"!! So I am confused that what do you mean by "before 3rd day"?

Question:

If Thursday falls 2 days after tomorrow, then what day of the week was it on three days before yesterday?

Options:
A) Monday
B) Tuesday
C) Wednesday 
D)

Solution:

Ans: (d) Two days after tomorrow = Thursday

Tomorrow = Thursday -2 = Tuesday

Today = Tuesday -1= Monday

Yesterday= Monday - 1 = Sunday

∴ 3 days before yesterday = Sunday – 3 = Thursday

Today is Tuesday according to the question.
3 days before yesterday, Yesterday was monday.
Before yesterday means Sunday, 3 days before Sunday will be Thursday.
