I cannot under stand it

Question:
Six people took different times to solve a question. K was the first one to solve the question. O solved it just after L but before M. P solved it immediately before N. Only one person solved it after O. Who took the maximum time to solve the question?
Options:
A) O
B) L
C) N
D) M
Solution:

→K was first to solve so, K took the least time.

We get,

__ > __ >__ > __ >__ > K

Now,

→ P solved it immediately before N.

→ Only one person solved it after O.

So, according to the time taken,

N took more time than P.

So,

N > P

And, we get,

O > __ > N > P

We have two possible cases now:

O > __ >N > P >__ > K

Or

__ > O >__ > N >P > K

It is given that,

→ O solved it after L but, before M.

So, timings are,

M > O > L

So, case I becomes invalid and,

We get the final arrangement as follows:

M > O >L > N >P > K

Thus, M took maximum time to solve it.
