I M NOT UNDERSTADING

Question:

The product of the zeros of the polynomial at x3 - 6x2 + 11x -6  is:

Options:
A) 11
B) –6
C) 1
D) 6
Solution:
Ans: (d) Given polynomial is  x3 - 6x2 + 11x - 6.

zero of the polynomial= -(d/a) for ax3+bx2+cx+d so, 

\(=-\cfrac{(-6)}{1}=6\)

Dear Student,
The product of the zeros of the polynomial at ax^3 + bx2 + cx + d is –d/a.
Here, d=-6 and a=1
So, -(-6/1) = 6
