then t9=a+8d
=10+24=34

If the 2nd term of an AP is 13 and the 6th term is 25, what is the 9th term? 
Options:
A) 33
B) 34
C) 41
D) None of these.
Solution:
Ans: (b) Given that t2=13 and t6=25 ,

nth=a+(n-1)d

nth=a+(2-1)d

=a+d=13.......(1)

nth=a+(6-1)d

=a+5d=25.....(2)

Subtracting eq. (2) by (1)

So 4d=12 or, d=3


a = 10


then t9=a+8d = 10+24 = 34
