it would be great if the appropriate formulae are used in the solution in order to understand the answer more easily

Question:
A tank is filled by pipe A in 32 minutes and by pipe B in 36 minutes. When it is full, it can be emptied by a pipe C in 20 minutes. If all the three pipes are opened simultaneously, half of the tank will be filled in how many minutes?
Options:
A) 51 \(\cfrac{3}{12}\)
B) 53 \(\cfrac{3}{5}\)
C) 55 \(\cfrac{5}{13}\)
D) 56 \(\cfrac{4}{13}\)

Alternate method

\(=\cfrac{1}{32}+\cfrac{1}{36}-\cfrac{1}{20}\)

\(=\cfrac{1440}{13}\)

half of the tank will be filled in:

\(=\cfrac{720}{13}\)

या \(=55\cfrac{5}{13}\)
