The answer mentioned in solution is true for Z and not for X. X will finish the work completely in 24 days and hence the answer should be A.

Question:

X & Y together do a work in 18 days. Y & Z together do that work in 24 days. X & Y work first 4 & 6 days respectively. Z join the work after X left the work. Z works 27 days & complete the work. In how many days X alone complete the work?
