Options:
A) \(\cfrac{15}{14}\)
B) \(\cfrac{13}{15}\)
C) \(\cfrac{5}{11}\)
D) \(\cfrac{4}{9}\)
Solution:
Ans: (a)

Let the original fraction be x/y.

According to the question,

\(\cfrac{x×400}{y×200}\ \ =\ \cfrac{15}{7}\)

= \(\cfrac{x}{y} = \cfrac{15×2}{4×7}\ \ =\ \cfrac{15}{14}\)
