pls give right ans of this question
option b or c right konsa hoga plss rply

Question:

The ratio of length of two trains is 5: 3 and the ratio of their speed is 6: 5. The ratio of time taken by them to cross a pole is

Options:
A)

5:6

B)

11:8

C)

25: 18

D)

27: 16

Solution:

Ans: (b)

Ratio of A and B’s length → 5: 3    (5x: 3x)

Ratio of A and B’s speed → 6: 5    (6y : 5y)

We know that,

When a train crosses a pole, i.e. it covers the distance equal to its length.

Time taken by train A to cross the pole =\(\cfrac{Total\ Distance}{Speed}\)      =\(\cfrac{5x}{6y}\)

Time taken by train B to cross the pole = \(\cfrac{Total \ Distance}{Speed}\)    =\(\cfrac{3x}{5y}\)

Hence ratio of their time =  \(\cfrac{5x}{6y}\) : \(\cfrac{3x}{5y}\) = 25: 18
