Dear Student, Remember formula: The product of the zeros of the polynomial at ax^3 + bx^2 + cx + d is -(d/a). Here, d=-6 and a=1 So, -(-6/1) = 6 Keep Learning with Us Best Wishes Team Toprankers

The answer should be -6. The zeroes are 1,-2 and 3. Their product is -6.

Question:

The product of the zeros of the polynomial at x3 - 6x2 + 11x -6  is:

Options:
A) 11
B) –6
C) 1
D) 6
Solution:
Ans: (d) Given polynomial is  x3 - 6x2 + 11x - 6.

zero of the polynomial= -(d/a) for ax3+bx2+cx+d so,

\(=-\cfrac{(-6)}{1}=6\)
