Question:

DIRECTIONS: The line graph given below shows the sales of T-shirts (in thousand numbers) from six showrooms of a company during two consecutive years 2010 and 2011.

From which showroom the percentage increase in sales of T-shirt over the previous year is lowest?

Options:
A)

D)

D3

Solution:

Ans: (d) Percentage increase in sales of T-shirt over the previous year

For showroom D3 = (132-128) × 100/128 = 3.125%

For showroom D4 = (142-137) × 100/137 = 3.65%

For showroom D5 = (152-145) × 100/1 45 = 4.83%

For showroom D6 = (166-154) × 100/154 = 7.79%
