Admission to all major universities via a common entrance exam is now a reality. The most awaited CUET exam is being conducted today for the first time by NTA for admissions to undergraduate programs in Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities. 

As per the notification, the exam was held from 15 July -10 August 2022.

15 September 2022: CUET Result Out

NTA declared CUET results notification on its official website on 15th September, around 10 PM. 

15 July 2022: CUET Exam Concluded!

The National Testing Agency successfully concluded the NTA CUET Phase 1 Exam on 15 July. As per the paper analysis, the exam was a moderate level of difficulty.

23 June 2022: CUET Exam Dates Announced

The National Testing Agency has announced the CUET Exam Dates on 22 June. As per the latest notice, the exam is conducted from 15 Jul -10 Aug.

The exam is not just conducted in India but in 13 other cities outside the country and in 554 cities across India, making it the second-largest exam conducted this year. To know more about the NTA CUET Exam Dates, check the official notice.

23 June 2022: CUET Application Registration & Correction Window Opened

Based on the demand of the students, the National Testing Agency opened the registration for CUET (UG) Exam 2022 for one last time.

As per the latest notice published by the NTA, those who were interested in applying for the exam could have filled out the form by 24 June 2022 (up to 11:50 pm).

Also, note that you are allowed to make the corrections only in the online mode.

05 May 2022: Last Date for CUET Online Registration Extended!

As per the recent news, the National Testing Agency extended the last date to submit the online application forms for the CUET entrance exam 2022.

After receiving many representations from the aspirants, NTA has decided to extend the last date for submission of online application forms for CUET (UG) - 2022.

04 May 2022: The Application Correction window Opened!

The National Testing Agency has come up with a new option, i.e., a correction window. You could have edited/updated the application form within the window period if you have made mistakes while filling out the application form earlier.

You could have made the changes in the online form starting from 04 May 2022. NTA would not accept any change or modification after the window period.

02 April 2022: CUET 2022 Online Registration Date Postponed!

The National Testing Agency, which has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Undergraduate Entrance Tests for all the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2022-23, postponed the online registration date of the CUET exam.

As per the latest notice, NTA will had started the online registration process on 06 April 2022. Those interested in applying for the exam must read the detailed information from the prospectus available at participating universities' websites.

26 March 2022: NTA CUET 2022 Online Registration Dates Published!

As per the latest notice published by the National Testing Agency, the online registration process for the Common Universities Entrance Test started in April 2022. 

The Common University Entrance Test application form will be made available from 2nd April 2022. Note that the eligibility and courses offered will remain college-specific.

Common Universities Entrance Test Exam Pattern Published!

Recently, the exam pattern for CUET 2022 exam was presented, and it is known to have three sections: language, domain-specific, and general aptitude.

NTA CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the common aptitude test, you must satisfy specific criteria set by the exam conducting body.

The expected CUET Eligibility Criteria for the courses are enlisted below:

  • All Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • For UG courses, you must have completed your class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category), and it is 45% for SC/ST category.
  • PG applicants belonging to the general category must have completed a bachelor's degree with 55% aggregate marks. The minimum percentage required for SC and ST categories is 50%.
  • Ph.D. applicants who have qualified CSIR UGC NET (JRF), GATE, and NBHM will have to register for the exam mandatorily.

NTA CUET 2023 Application form

There is a common registration process for UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses.

You can follow the instructions below while filling out the CUET Application Form 2023.

  • The online window to register for the exam shall appear on the screen after clicking on the "click here to apply" button on the official website.
  • Once you click on the "new register" button, the commonly asked registration fields such as name, mobile number, and E-mail ID shall appear on the screen.
  • Upon successful registration, you will receive the username and password to the registered mobile number and E-mail.
  • You must fill in all mandatory fields like qualification details, communication details, parent's details, exam center preferences, and category.
  • The next step is to upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specifications given in the official notification.
  • Select any three universities you wish to secure admission to and select any three courses in each university.
  • Once selected, click on the "save & proceeded" button and preview the online form.
  • Next, click on the "make payment" button and pay the application fee per your category.

NTA CUET Exam Pattern 2023

The UGC confirmed that the entrance exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, i.e., online mode. The pattern of the question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions.

Also, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question.

NTA CUET 2023 Admit Card/Hall Ticket

The Common Universities Common Entrance Test Admit Card will be out on the official website 10-15 before the exam. You can download the CUET admit card online by using your login credentials.

You must carry the call letter to the exam center without fail. Otherwise, you are not allowed to take the exam.

  • Go to the official website. 
  • Click on the ‘download CUET admit card’ link.

NTA CUET Answer Key 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the final answer key 20 days after the completion of the Common Universities Entrance Test.

NTA will release the CUET Answer Key 2023 in two phases: 

  • Provisional answer key 
  • Official answer key

Authorities will release the provisional answer key after the completion of the exam.  With the help of the provisional answer key, you can verify all the answers and raise objections if you find any discrepancies.

Considering the objections raised, authorities will modify the responses (if required) and release the final answer key. Note that you cannot raise objections against the final answer key.

NTA CUET 2023 Result

Generally, the NTA will announce the results a month after completing the exam, and the results are released in the form of a PDF.

You can download the NTA CUET Exam Result 2023 pdf by using your registration ID and date of birth. Follow the steps given below to the scorecard.

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the ‘login to view score card’ tab.
  • Enter your registration ID and Date of birth in the given space

Each participating college will conduct a separate counseling process after completing the exam. You have to visit the official website of participating institutes and register yourself to participate in the CUET Counselling Process.

BHU Admissions through CUET 2023

From the academic year 2023, the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will provide admission to different courses through the Common Universities Common Entrance Test.

As per an official announcement, the BHU admissions through CUET will make the process of selection even in terms of opportunity and demography.

You will be required to take an aptitude test administered by NTA as a part of the selection process, which will assess your aptitude, logical reasoning skills, and subject proficiency.

To qualify for the next round, you have to score a minimum qualifying mark in the entrance exam. If you clear the exam, you have to apply for admissions by paying the requisite amount at the official website of BHU. 

The college and seat allotment will be based on the merit list prepared using the CUET score and eligibility criteria.

JNU Admissions through CUET 2023

This year, admission to various courses at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be made through the CUET exam. 

JNU offers ten undergraduate courses through various School of Language, Literature, and Cultural Studies centers. Only those who will score above the cut-off in the aptitude test are eligible for JNU admissions through CUET.

The university offers reservations in admissions as per the central government rules. Also, it provides scholarships like merit-cum-means scholarships, ford foundation scholarships, etc.

To be eligible for the UG programs at JNU, you should have passed Intermediate (10+2) from CBSE or any other recognized board with English as one of the core subjects. 

AMU Admissions through CUET 2023

As per the latest announcement, admission to various courses at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is yet to be finalized. 

AMU admissions through CUET are made based on the marks scored on the aptitude test. Those who pass the entrance exam will be eligible for the counseling process and have to apply for admission at the official website of AMU. 

The university offers various courses such as B.A. (Hons.) Arabic, B.A. (Hons.) Communicative English, B.A. (Hons.) Geography, B.A. (Hons.) Philosophy, B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit, and many more.

To apply for these courses, you must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English and the best three subjects.

NTA CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the common aptitude test, you must satisfy specific criteria set by the exam conducting body.

The expected CUET Eligibility Criteria for the courses are enlisted below:

  • All Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
  • For UG courses, you must have completed your class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks (for the general category), and it is 45% for SC/ST category.
  • PG applicants belonging to the general category must have completed a bachelor's degree with 55% aggregate marks. The minimum percentage required for SC and ST categories is 50%.
  • Ph.D. applicants who have qualified CSIR UGC NET (JRF), GATE, and NBHM will have to register for the exam mandatorily.

NTA CUET 2023 Application form

There is a common registration process for UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses.

You can follow the instructions below while filling out the CUET Application Form 2023.

  • The online window to register for the exam shall appear on the screen after clicking on the "click here to apply" button on the official website.
  • Once you click on the "new register" button, the commonly asked registration fields such as name, mobile number, and E-mail ID shall appear on the screen.
  • Upon successful registration, you will receive the username and password to the registered mobile number and E-mail.
  • You must fill in all mandatory fields like qualification details, communication details, parent's details, exam center preferences, and category.
  • The next step is to upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents as per the specifications given in the official notification.
  • Select any three universities you wish to secure admission to and select any three courses in each university.
  • Once selected, click on the "save & proceeded" button and preview the online form.
  • Next, click on the "make payment" button and pay the application fee per your category.

NTA CUET Exam Pattern 2023

The UGC confirmed that the entrance exam is conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, i.e., online mode. The pattern of the question paper will comprise multiple-choice questions.

Also, there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrongly answered question.

NTA CUET Exam Preparation Tips 2023

To crack the entrance exams like Common Universities Entrance Test, you would require a proper preparation strategy and a study plan.

Begin your NTA CUET preparation well in advance, as this will help you complete the syllabus on time, and you will also be left with ample time to revise all the topics at least once before the exam.

  • For the quantitative section, revise all the concepts of standard 8th, 9th, and 10th mathematics as most of the questions might be asked from these topics.
  • For English, improve your vocabulary by making a habit of reading the newspaper daily.
  • Note the difficult words and their meanings in a notebook and revise them regularly.
  • Try to solve as many logical reasoning questions as possible that are given at the end of textbooks. In this way, you can enhance your speed and accuracy.
  • Also, practice more and more puzzle-related questions to improve your problem-solving skills.

NTA CUET 2023 Admit Card/Hall Ticket

The Common Universities Common Entrance Test Admit Card will be out on the official website 10-15 before the exam. You can download the CUET admit card online by using your login credentials.

You must carry the call letter to the exam center without fail. Otherwise, you are not allowed to take the exam.

  • Go to the official website. 
  • Click on the ‘download CUET admit card’ link.
  • Enter your registration ID and Date of birth in the given space
  • Click on the Login button
  • The hall ticket will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the admit card and take a printout for future use

NTA CUET Answer Key 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the final answer key 20 days after the completion of the Common Universities Entrance Test.

NTA will release the CUET Answer Key 2023 in two phases: 

  • Provisional answer key 
  • Official answer key

Authorities will release the provisional answer key after the completion of the exam.  With the help of the provisional answer key, you can verify all the answers and raise objections if you find any discrepancies.

Considering the objections raised, authorities will modify the responses (if required) and release the final answer key. Note that you cannot raise objections against the final answer key.

NTA CUET 2023 Result

Generally, the NTA will announce the results a month after completing the exam, and the results are released in the form of a PDF.

You can download the NTA CUET Exam Result 2023 pdf by using your registration ID and date of birth. Follow the steps given below to the scorecard.

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the ‘login to view score card’ tab.
  • Enter your registration ID and Date of birth in the given space
  • Click on the Login button
  • The result pdf will appear on the screen
  • Download the scorecard and take a printout for future use

Common University Entrance test Counselling 2023

Each participating college will conduct a separate counseling process after completing the exam. You have to visit the official website of participating institutes and register yourself to participate in the CUET Counselling Process.

At the time of registration, you need to select the desired program in the particular university you wish to apply to.

You need to carry the following documents at the time of counseling.

  • CUET admit card
  • Class 10 Mark sheets
  • Class 12 Mark sheets
  • Graduation Certificates
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport size photographs
  • Medical certificate (for PwD category)

Jamia Millia Islamia

Jawaharlal Nehru University

Banaras Hindi University

BHU Admissions through CUET 2023

From the academic year 2023, the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will provide admission to different courses through the Common Universities Common Entrance Test.

As per an official announcement, the BHU admissions through CUET will make the process of selection even in terms of opportunity and demography.

You will be required to take an aptitude test administered by NTA as a part of the selection process, which will assess your aptitude, logical reasoning skills, and subject proficiency.

To qualify for the next round, you have to score a minimum qualifying mark in the entrance exam. If you clear the exam, you have to apply for admissions by paying the requisite amount at the official website of BHU. 

The college and seat allotment will be based on the merit list prepared using the CUET score and eligibility criteria.

JNU Admissions through CUET 2023

This year, admission to various courses at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be made through the CUET exam. 

JNU offers ten undergraduate courses through various School of Language, Literature, and Cultural Studies centers. Only those who will score above the cut-off in the aptitude test are eligible for JNU admissions through CUET.

The university offers reservations in admissions as per the central government rules. Also, it provides scholarships like merit-cum-means scholarships, ford foundation scholarships, etc.

To be eligible for the UG programs at JNU, you should have passed Intermediate (10+2) from CBSE or any other recognized board with English as one of the core subjects. 

AMU Admissions through CUET 2023

As per the latest announcement, admission to various courses at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is yet to be finalized. 

AMU admissions through CUET are made based on the marks scored on the aptitude test. Those who pass the entrance exam will be eligible for the counseling process and have to apply for admission at the official website of AMU. 

The university offers various courses such as B.A. (Hons.) Arabic, B.A. (Hons.) Communicative English, B.A. (Hons.) Geography, B.A. (Hons.) Philosophy, B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit, and many more.

To apply for these courses, you must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate of English and the best three subjects.
